We consider that we have sufficient evidence to recommend still breaking the armature when moving away from the charge position, but breaking it in relation to the field with as much angular delay as is possible in such an arrangement. EFC. Since writing the above we have received your RL/A11.12.28 which confirms the procedure which we were adopting for the time being and will now continue to adopt. We have, however, not withheld this report because we think the matter will still be of interest especially in view of your last paragraph. EFC. | ||
