You will have received our full report on petrol boiling tests. This should answer the queries raised, with reference to our daily report of the 18th inst. I shall however, watch these points carefully in future. We would like to make it clear, that since carrying out these tests, we are of the opinion that the petrol vaporises in the supply pipe and not in the carburetters as previously assumed.
