BOHN ALUMINUM & BRASS CORPORATION BOHNALITE & BOHNOLLOY PRODUCTS DETROIT, U.S.A. February 14, 1934 Mr. Rowbottom, c/o Cadillac Motor Car Co., Detroit, Michigan. Dear Mr. Rowbottom: Confirming our conversation while at your office on February 10th regarding steel back copper lead lined bearings for your connecting rod EB 859/60. We will furnish (2) complete sets (14 bearings) allowing .005 on each side for line reaming at assembly for $100.00. These bearings will be steel back and lined with our standard copper lead mixture and will have a wall thickness of .095. We will omit the oil holes, oil grooves, and bolt slots on the side of the bearing. It is understood that you will drill the oil holes at assembly. I am returning the sample connecting rod that you submitted to the writer and hope that we are favored with this business.
