BRACKET FOR CARRYING LUGGAGE GRID. We recommend that we should standardise the bracket which has been designed for carrying a luggage grid. When this bracket is fitted it does away with the necessity of the Coach-builders drilling the frame. It also ensures that there is sufficient rear clearance if/shock absorbers are fitted at any time. We do not consider it necessary that these brackets should be fitted to every car, because quite a large number of cars never have luggage grids fitted, but in every case where a luggage grid is asked for, we consider that this bracket should be supplied.
