BENTLEY SILENCER SUSPENSION.

GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s COMPLAINT.

Looking over this suspension the first thing that strikes one, is how the Erecting department can be expected to assemble a silencer to a chassis with three spring loaded brackets and get an even load on each of the five lower springs without spending a great deal of time and trouble, and in the end cannot guarantee it to stay put in service and free from trouble such as GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} complains of rattles and squeaks.

It has been suggested by GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} the suspension needs lubricating at intervals, this would only serve its purpose for a short time and a recurrence of the trouble would arise.

These complaints now call for Design attention and should be pleased if they will give this matter their consideration.
