γ 110 Expl. Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth.17/MJ. 30th. October, 1936. A.R.Smith Esq., The Ford Motor Co. Ltd., Dagenham, Essex. Dear Sir, We thank you for your letter of the 29th. inst., and regret that you have had trouble in identifying the clutch disc to which we referred. As a matter of fact we saw this at the Olympia Show, on the stand of Messrs. R.M. Papilian Ltd. We understood that it was obtained directly from America and was manufactured by the Long Clutch people over there. We note, however, that you have no record of having used rubberised fabric in this country. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
