We send herewith N.scheme 3299 showing a modification to the above gearbox incorporating a delay action cam surface on the synchro mesh mechanism on the lines of the Buick.

It will be seen that though the pieces are slightly altered we have not taken advantage of the probably reduced movement to reduce the length of the box, so that we can revert to the present scheme if we wish to.

We wish this scheme to be used on the first box.
