To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} Chateauroux. 600a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.3.38. CLUTCH 26. G.VI. Will you please examine the driving lugs of the pressure plate to see if they have dug into the slots in the pressed steel covers. If there is appreciable slack in these lugs, the pressure plate can run out of truth, resulting in a very considerable out of balance. The average and maximum RPM of the Wraith engine are higher than the 25/30, and problem of wear on the lugs is causing anxiety. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} | ||
