X1555 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ7/H2.5.23. NEW MOTOR FUEL. The Chairman again discussed yesterday the matter of the fuel, particulars of which we sent to the Works on the 6th April for a report. We have heard nothing from W. since that date. Do you wish to have some of this fuel sent to the Works? If so, how much? We fear it is giving the Chairman rather a bad opinion of the capacity of Derby to deal with these matters, for us to have heard nothing about the matter during the past twentyfour days, although I have explained to him that probably the delay was due to your absence with Mr. Royce. Is there no one in the Experimental Dept. who is able to deal with such matters in your absence, please? B.J. | ||
