ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Order No.: AC. 58 Customer's No.: X 4383 20h/p Dynamo 21. (Complaint) This machine was received from the Repair dept on account of intermittent charging. It was put on the bench and run, as received. It took a long time to excite (repeatedly) and sparked badly at the control brush. The brush was found to be not free in its holder due to distortion of the latter from its axial alignment. This was corrected and the holder slightly expanded, after which the machine behaved normally and passed the production test as issued 28-5-24 correctly. (Contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
