Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, WILLESDEN, N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Chassis No.GUB-5. (A.{Mr Adams} Wormald Esq.) We understand that a rattle has developed in the sunshine roof of this car. It occurs between the two wooden cams which raise the roof to the flush position when closed. The car will be sent to you to enable you to deal with this feature as soon as it can be spared, and due notice of its arrival will be given. We would like to go into the matter with you as soon as you get the car, not only with a view to putting this car right, but as a general issue which calls for attention to the design. At the request of the Experimental Department who are doing research work on the riding comfort in the rear seats of this car, we would ask you to kindly prepare a rear cushion for the car constructed wholely of "Latex". We suggest that you will wish to get this cushion put in hand right away so that the final fitting and trimming can be carried out when the car is at your Works. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
