X4383 To EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. Sft. {Mr Swift} for Mr. Brock. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T25.7.23. X.4383 - 20 H.P. DYNAMO No.29 LOANED TO US FOR TEST We return herewith dynamo No.29. This dynamo has been carefully investigated, see our report EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T25.7.23, and is now returned to you in a condition of being adjusted correctly for production; also brushes bedded correctly. We have not had to file out the slot and if you have an opportunity of noting the action of this particular dynamo, we are confident you will find that the output curve will remain constant, provided of course the brush gear does not receive any distortion inadvertently. Also we expect the commutator surface, even if it becomes somewhat blackened, to remain uniform. We shall be interested to know, if possible, in due course if such is the case. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
