GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/4/JAB. seems serious in that for a time we were cured of shock absorber noises, and now these have again come up and seem to be attributable to the fact that the bearings of the shock absorbers are leaving the factory with more clearance than they have done in the past. You will note that Hancock says it is seldom a case of wear having taken place. This being so, there does not seem to be very much we can do experimentally. I think we might with advantage get together with Brock and see whether there is anything that can be done to help production. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
