CHASSIS FOG LAMPS.

Replying to your C.19/C:12.10.34., in view of your remarks we are arranging to hold up the standardisation sheet until we have had more actual practical experience in fog. The lamps are, from optical tests we have carried out, very good but we have arranged to again examine all other types of fog lamps at the Show to make sure we are testing the best.

No lamp, naturally will be 100% efficient in fog due to the fact that even if all the light is thrown on to the road there will be reflected light from the road surface which will make visibility difficult in severe fog.
