Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd.
Well St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}

For the attention of Mr. Thacker.

Dear Sirs,

We now urgently require back the Smith instrument patch which we loaned to you a week or two ago for the purposes of fitting the new type Lucas ammeter in position.

Will you kindly let us have this back as soon as possible advising us of despatch. We should also like to know whether you could, at this stage, send us a blue print showing the dimensions of the proposed ammeter for this patch.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
