WOK/PG 4th November...1936 SUBJECT Handwritten note: WST Should like to see a written report to Kennington on the governor troubled Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Dear Mr. Robotham, We are putting in hand some more sample distributors which we will let you have in due course, and unless I hear to the contrary from you they will be incorporated with the latest type of improved centrifugal advance casing. With reference to the coils, Mr. Rushton is sending you twelve absolutely standard British made 12-volt ignition coils. These, I understand, are for you to test and dissect, etc. Apart from this I am asking him to make up another twelve coils which, internally, will be precisely the same as standard but, externally, will be dressed up so as to match the distributor and which will have an appearance somewhat more like the coil which you manufacture.
