X4013 Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA (Sevres) from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/AD23.11.31. X8230 EXPERIMENTAL EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. With reference to your Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VALO/GM9.11.31, the remaining pair of malleable iron manifolds which you have should be suitable for chassis 7-AL. They are suitable for all C.I. head P.I cars - the aluminium head started on F2B series (C.L. numbers), 7-AL therefore should have a C.I. cylinder head. Possibly our previous memo in which we stated that the manifolds were suitable for cars up to E.2 series misled you - it should have read 'up to and including F2A series'.
