The majority of the battery ignition contact breakers employ an eccentric adjustment of the contact points. Both points are rivetted securely, one to the lever and the other to a steel pressing which, by releasing a retaining screw, can be moved relative to the lever point by turning the eccentric screw. The object of this idea is simplicity and accuracy of adjustment. | ||
