1282 R.A.S.C. OFFICERS' MESS, DETTINGEN BARRACKS, BLACKDOWN, HANTS. TEL. DEEPCUT 21. 23.5.40 Dear Rowbotham - Your letter of 17th, addressed to me at Shell Mex House has just reached me via my private address. As I have been back in the Army since last year I fear I can't help you much over a safety fuel at present - if however you care to write to Dr. F.N. HARRAP at Shell Mex House he may be able to find you something as he was chief chemist to my department & is carrying on for me whilst the War goes on. I hope this finds you & all my old friends at Derby going strong - you must all be pretty busy. Have plenty to do myself. being chief instructor - M.T. to a few thousand strong. With kindest regards Yours sincerely L.G. Callingham Capt. P.S. Would especially like to be remembered to Dr Hives, Llewellyn Smith, & Dorey. LGC. | ||
