Miss To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} PEREGRINE TURBULENT HEAD. We understand that one turbulent head to LeC.3222 is now in process of machining. We suggest that the second head should be fitted with the large diameter inlet valves and have .050" left on the bottom face to allow the compression ratio to be adjusted finally. So far every head we have had has been on the high side for compression. PEREGRINE SHOCK ABSORBERS. We want to run the first pair of aluminium case shock absorbers on the pump chassis, in order to prove out the strength of the casings. We should prefer to run them on the rear as the fixing has already failed once and we wish to test out the improved scheme. Will you please do all you can to urge the job.
