| 8 The best cure for this is to fit a spring onto the dust cap & have a small copper stud on to other end (Fig 5). This stud should bear on the centre of the axle, this will as a rule remove this interference. Windscreen Wipers The most effective remedy for this is to connect a 1/2 mfd condenser across one terminal to earth. Elec Petrol Pump Interference from this source may be removed by fitting a 1/2 mfd condenser between the pump terminal + earth. Car Heater. If interference occurs from this source it may be cured by exactly the same treatment as prescribed for windscreen wipers. | ||
