Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.2/KW.10.2.36. Skid Pan for Cornering Tests. (1) Dimensions to Blue Print (Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}56). (2) Surface must be non-skid. (3) Centre portion to be without bumps, but inclined if anything towards the centre, where a drain will take the water away. (4) There should be no trees close to the outside, in case a car in emergency leaves the skid pan. (5) The position of the skid pan being not too close to the Donington main track, thus avoiding damage from spectators' cars on race meeting days, would be preferable.
