WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

Hsl/LGS.10.23.

LEAN-TO SHED FOR EXPL: DEPT: ETC.

Referring to the attached ref. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}5/M3.10.23 and EJJ4/HC3.10.23 in connection with the above.

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} and myself have gone into this matter and consider it is essential that this work should be put in hand.

The present arrangement for washing parts in the Expl: Dept: is very unsatisfactory. In connection with Aero Engine work, Rg.{Mr Rowledge} has suggested that we ought to have better facilities to ensure that all parts are absolutely clean. When one realises what damage can be done unless parts are put together scrupulously clean, we think that this money would be worth spending.

With regard to the Shed for storing. This is also very necessary, otherwise, we have to take up valuable room inside the Shop.
