2nd. September 1937.

Messrs. Borg and Beck,
Tachbrook Road,
Leamington Spa.

Dear Sirs,

We are returning for your inspection one 11" clutch plate.

On testing for run out, it appeared that some foreign matter might be lodged between the facing and centre plate, but on removing the facings, we found a burr on the centre plate at the root of one of the tongues which carry the rivet.

Our reason for returning this plate to you is so that you may see the burr, and take the necessary steps to prevent recurrence.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
