January 26th. 1929.

We have completed the S.S. to-day. Everything has gone back very nicely and the appearance of the car is as new. We have not as yet tried the car on the road as it was too late to do so there being no front wings fitted and no side lamps. We shall try the car out in the morning and start immediately on the front engine feet. We should be clear of this job by Tuesday next and I should say we shall be leaving here Thursday for Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. We have received the piston for the 20-HP. This work will be carried out immediately we have finished with the S.S.

G.W.H.
