DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} C. 47430 R4/M23.1.29. X.7430 X.7240 X.5430 X.5240 CARS - STEERING COLUMN CONTROL. It will be remembered that some of our users have suggested that these would be better lower. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} is working at this I hope, and I would like included in SS.{S. Smith} and G.4. If we cannot get it low enough by flattening the controls we can dish the steering wheel somewhat more. The larger steering wheels should be standard on both cars as soon as possible. I think no one would complain at having the slightly larger wheel. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
