PRESENT TYPE AERO ENGINES.
CYLINDER CONSTRUCTION.

My impression is that the present type construction could be much improved with the extra bolt - i.e. 6 bolt arrangement, as used in the Buzzard.

I have asked HU. to have this made and tested.

The object, and result, should be a more reliable top joint, and less distortion of the liner.
