Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Chassis Department, Derby. For the attention of Mr. Swindall. Dear Sir, Our Mr. Horton reports that you are experiencing burning from the bores with our "Klingerit 1000" Cylinder Head Gaskets and you would like to know if we can modify our gaskets in any way to overcome this difficulty. In our opinion "Klingerit 1000" with wire would be most likely to overcome this trouble, and as the four sample joints to drawing EW.1933 are cut from "Klingerit 1000" with wire in addition to having the special graphited surfaces, the tests you have kindly promised to conduct should give information on both these points. When your tests have been completed we shall be very interested to learn the results and trust that this material will be perfectly satisfactory for your requirements. Yours faithfully, RICHARD KLINGER LTD. Sales Progress Dept. | ||
