To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X1166 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}3/KW.30.5.36. Ph.III Hydraulic Jacks. Production have experienced several failures of the cap at the top end of the ram in subjecting these jacks to overload tests. None of the jack systems we have are up to date. We shall be glad therefore if you will fit on 36-EX a production pump, and make provision for a branch line connected to a pressure gauge reading up to 5000 lbs/sq.in. so that we can test what pressure is attainable in the system if one continues to pump after the car is fully raised.
