We have dismantled the engine of this car and the following is our report upon the condition of the crankshaft and the main and big end bearings:

BIG END BEARINGS AND L.B. TYPE :- The condition of the lead bronze bearings are OK. These bearings have covered 10206 miles and no wear has taken place.

MAIN-BEARINGS WHITE METAL :- The front, central & rear bearings are in a fairly good condition, the whitemetal shows no signs of having cracked.

The intermediate bearings are in a cracked condition and there is a fair amount of lost metal from these bearings.
