X 5340 Attached herewith are sketches of failures of spring leaves observed during 10,000 miles test on 9-G-111 in France. It will be noted that the fractures always start on thetop side of the plate - fractures also start from the outside edges. Except for top leaves, the failures nearly always occur close to the spring clips. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
