10.2.14.

In reply to your memo Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr4/010214. please note the brands of oil recommended for use for the engine, clutch, change gear box, and differential box are all given in the Instruction Book, and we would refer you to page 111 which reads as follows:-

"Use Price's Battersea Gear Oil B (thick) in the summer, and Price's Battersea Gear Oil A (thin) in the winter.
For the engine, use Price's Motorine B in the summer, and Price's Motorine C in the winter.
For Graphite Grease, use Price's "Belgraphine"
For Ball Bearings, use Hoffmann's Ball Bearing Grease, manufactured by Alex. Duckham & Co. Ltd., Phoenix Wharf, Millwall, E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
Castor or lard oil may be used in Back Axle Casings and Gear Box if extra speed or power is desired."

We might add that engine oil is used for the clutch.

With regard to the average number of miles one filling will last, we think the Expt Dept. or the Test Dept. will give you accurate information with regard to this.

Na.{Mr Nadin}
