30th April, 1941.

Messrs. HALLAM SLEIGH & CHESTON,
Widney Works - Bagot Street,
BIRMINGHAM. 4.

Attention of Mr. A.D. Morris.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 28th April and note your remarks regarding the folding arm rest.

As regards the blind rollers, it is a rear blind roller, and we are interested in rollers operated in the usual manner by a cord from the driver's seat, so that no pawl or trigger will be required.

The length of the barrel is to be 35 inches.

Concerning quantities, at the moment we are only wanting one for a sample body. At a later date, we shall probably ask you to quote for not less than 5000.

Regarding the raise and fall seat fittings, will you please tell Mr. Whitehouse that this job has advanced since we last spoke to him, but is still waiting until we have a draughtsman available to finish it off. Should he, however, want your seat fittings back, please let us know and we will return them.

Yours faithfully,
