(p.107) Exhaust heat to manifold. Jets: We found it necessary (or desirable) to heal the jet needles. (p.109) Setting of low speed jet: We find it desirable to set it about 2 notches stronger than indicated by these instructions. This we find benefits popping in exhaust, and low speed pick up, without noticeable effect on consumption. Last par: If there is misfiring on the strong side of the quadrant the carburetter is a lot too rich. (p.110) 12 miles per gallon equals 10 miles per U.S. gallon. Should be explained, otherwise would cause complaints. (p.111) Starting carburetter: New control with extra oil. (p.112) "The starting carburetter should not be used for more than half a minute ---- ". Should this not be in capitals? (p.113) Cleaning float chamber. Is this necessary? (p.115) "paraffin" in U.S. means paraffin wax. English "paraffin" = American "kerosene". Warning re asphyxiation: Do you think this would be better in capitals? Chapter VII. Fig.33.
