I had a very satisfactory run in the 'Car' this morning at slow speeds because of the fog.

The impression I gained was that of 'Silkiness', an expression we used to use, combined with power. Very quick 'uptake' indeed. Two periods at apx. 22 - 29 m.p.h. but so mild they appeared to me of minor importance.

The only Hill climb we had was the tricky hill from the lower Richmond Road up to old Star and Garter a really very remarkable 'pick up' considering the poor greasy surface. This hill is a difficult one without a run to do on top. We did it easily and more to spare.

I honestly believe that given a quiet 14 tooth axle that chassis will take heavy bodies with wonderful results on hills.

The total car as it now stands weighs I should say apx. 2 1/2 tons and is fitted with 15 tooth axle?

I take my hat off to R and all concerned. A reaally wonderful chassis. At least that is my opinion and a big commercial proposition.
