Dear Sirs., Referring to your favor of the 30th inst., with reference to the Bevel Wheel & Pinions you are attempting to cut on a sprial scheme, we are disappointed that you were not able to despatch the gears as promised. We attach herewith two copies of telegrams despatched today, and wish to confirm that the first wire was a misunderstanding of your purpose in supplying three wheels and one pinion. The second wire corrects our attitude in rega to this matter and should have made it plain that we are prepared to test the gears to your request. Contd. | ||
