Re. MODIFIED ELECTRIC PETROL GAUGE.

The extra charge asked by Messrs.Smiths is mainly to cover new tool charges, i.e. new dies for the new cast aluminium gear support bracket for the float and for the bakelite moulding housing the potentiometer winding which has an additional terminal. Also new press tool for manufacturing the spring contact arms.

The actual cost of manufacture and assembly for the new pieces should only be a few shillings.
