P.2 SYNCHRO MESH GEARBOX.

We have pointed out in our reports that we have had trouble on the P.2 synchro mesh box, due to the fact that the synchro mesh portion of it is not working satisfactorily.

We have made new cones with a different angle and tried them in one box, but it is still unsatisfactory.

Further alterations to the cones are in hand. We expect to have these on test to-day. All work on this box is being pushed forward with the utmost speed. As soon as we are satisfied with the box 22-EX. will start running a Standardisation test.
