Referring to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}5/HR.22.1.35, pointing out the Ransome & Marles rear axle thrust race has been removed from the above car due to the ball cage having disintegrated, we are afraid this is a general weakness with this type of bearing, and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} are being approached with a view to changing bearings for similar ones with steel cages which have been proved to be more satisfactory. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
