Hancock - Head Chateauroux}: from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Central Oiling. It is essential when checking the drip plugs that they are at normal temperatures. It will be found that plugs which are slightly warm or hot will pass much more oil than the same plug in a cold condition. We have got to be certain that we oil the essential parts, such as shackles and shock absorbers, even at the expense of the unimportant points. Carburation. It would appear that it is going to be difficult to get a satisfactory exhaust heated induction system; we would therefore like you to make a number of tests from a cold start to see the limitations of the present system. Vacuum Pump. It is suggested that the difficulty you have experienced with this pump is due to air locks. Will you try with a pipe leading into a tin of petrol at what height it gives out when engine is turned by starter motor. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
