Dear Sirs, Further to your letter of 21st. inst. we have now received your official order No. 20698 for 3 - 4 cyl: Distributors and 6 - Vacuum Control Units. The 3 - Distributors as previously stated will be to Drawing No. 9A/9633 with the exception of the Caps, but we have no information as to the automatic advance you require, the rotation we understand is counter-clockwise viewed from drive end of Distributor. We are executing the second item of your order with 6 - of our Model 680WA{Mr Wallis} Vacuum Control Units. It is more than likely that these units will not exactly suit the layout of your engine, and certain modifications will be necessary, but on receipt of the units you will be able to re-open the subject with us. These units are fitted with a spring-loaded hold-down screw, as we have found that in service a rigid screw "binds" the levers. These are stock parts and this part of your order will be executed immediately. With regard to the Distributors, we await your confirmation re automatic advance and rotation. Yours faithfully, B.
