X1209 To Sft{Mr Swift}/Mr.Peskett. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}1/JH.30.9.36. 4c and 2c Beds. It would appear that the shop will have the single cylinder unit on 4c bed ready to run by 12-30 today. We should be glad therefore if you would complete this bed as soon as possible as it is vitally urgent that running be started at the earliest opportunity. With reference to 2c bed, this has now been standing for nearly a fortnight, no work whatever having been done on it in that time. As the shop have had two engines ready and waiting to be run for the last three weeks you will see that this job also is being seriously held up, and it would be appreciated if you would accelerate the work on this bed.
