We attach herewith a list of the design work completed on the Wraith chassis during the last month, and also particulars of design work at present in hand. Revised Engine. The design work on this is completed with the exception of the controls, and fittings, both of which are well in hand. Design instructions are completed and issued for the wet liner cylinder block held down to the crankcase by internal studs in the base of the cylinder block; the cylinder head modifications to suit this type of construction are also completed and issued. Design instructions are therefore complete for this modification. Revised Front Suspension. Designs have been completed covering a mock up outside coil spring type front suspension, which has been made and tested on the bumper test, and also for the final design of this type. As it has been decided not to adopt this type of suspension all the designs have been issued for filing purposes. Jackall Jacks. We are still awaiting receipt of the set of jacks from Messrs. Smith's. Floorboards. The design of revised and cheapened floorboards has been completed and issued. Radiator. The revised design has been completed and issued. | ||
