ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. STAMPS: ENCLOSURE No 668 21345 JUL 11 1914 RECEIVED To Mr Wormald Order No. Customer's No. Re: Re Passam Report "Oil Leak, n/side" I am not of opinion that oil leak is due to air pressure but to fact that oil gets thrashed up into a foamy lather & fills box up & then creeps along the shaft to hub which gradually fills up & then leaks out at inside. I am sending thro an experiment as soon as possible to clear this point up both from an air pressure point of view & also from point of view above referred to. Exp. will be out in about 10 days Signed: RWAB This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
