Below is copy of a letter from Lord Beaverbrook, the Minister for Aircraft Production, which I have pleasure in bringing to your attention :-

"Dear Mr. Hives,

I am delighted to have your letter of the 27th. The record of achievement which it contains is a magnificent one.

To me it is a source of the most immense comfort and joy. I send you my warmest congratulations.

You and your colleagues are performing a service to this country in its hour of need which cannot be too highly praised.
