We have suggested that if anything, the frame material is at fault, and at the first opportunity a section will be sent to 'W' for verification.

We have not examined chassis 6-EU, but we understand that this car has not had the gruelling of 5-AU, and it is therefore more difficult to understand the frame fracture.

It would be interesting to know if the frames were ordered in the same batch.

Both the cars in question are 'Silver Ghost', so that the plea of excessive speed cannot be supported.
