Re GLN-60. Ex Lp.{Mr Lappin}

Replying to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}6/KW.9.11.34.

Most of the experimental parts fitted to GLN-60 are concentrated in the engine. We think that if the unit is removed and replaced by a standard 20/25, the car can be sold as it is.

The trouble is that we have not a standard 20/25 engine unit available to fit to this car. The simplest thing would be to put a 20/25 head and induction and exhaust system on the unit at present in GLN-60, and replace the connecting rods by standard. The car will then be 20/25 with the exception of a Bentley dynamo and dynamo speed.

As we are very overcrowded in the Experimental Dept. we usually arrange for the Repair to carry out modifications of this type.
