10000 Miles Test of EG 3417 20 h.p. Dynamo Brushes.
A set of these brushes fitted to dynamo 164 ran nearly 11000 miles on chassis 11 G III.
On removal the brush contact faces were found to be well polished and the brushes generally in good condition though slight signs of burning were visible on the negative and control trailing edges.
A small amount of dust accumulated on the holders but the insulation of the machine was found to be OK.
