As a result of tests recently carried out, we find that in order to cool the Ph.III. car satisfactorily in hot weather, for long periods of idling with the car stationary, it is necessary to use the Cadillac five blade type fan runing at engine speed. This 1/1 ratio can be obtained by using a fan pulley to Ex.26731 and a crankshaft pulley having an outside dia. of 5.450", a width at top of vee of .860, a vee angle of 23° and a vee depth of .760. Will you please detail such a pulley (other dimensions to Ex.26732) and make fourteen of same.

Will you also please make 12 sets of Cadillac blade sets and twelve pulleys to Ex.26731 and build up a dozen complete fans and drives using these parts and standard fan hub assemblies. We will order the necessary fan belts - we already have two sets of fan pulleys and blades for which we require the extra two crankshaft pulleys requested above.

We shall supply this dozen fan sets to Cricklewood to use in cases of persistent overheating in traffic - they are needed very urgently.

The fan blades should be in aluminium as per the last set built.
