Due to the altered transverse pivot inclination and improved pivot pin bearings, the steering with this axle is lighter. This is most noticeable with low pressure tyres. Road Test Report. This axle was fitted to 12-EX and ran 10,000 miles in France. There was no mechanical failure during the test. We consider it to be an improvement on the present axle. Fitted to 8-EX and 7-EX.
